Simon graduated from AFTRS in 2018. He was awarded the Emerging Filmmaker prize in Mardi Gras Film Festival’s ‘My Queer Career’ showcase and nominated for Best Direction in a Short Film at the 2020 ADG Awards for his short film, All Good Things, now available to watch on ABC iview. Simon plays Tommy in the AACTA nominated Sequin in a Blue Room (Audience Award, Sydney Film Festival 2019). Theatre credits include A Town Named War Boy (ATYP), Chicom (Red Line), The Campaign (White Box), A Clockwork Orange (NIDA), All Good Things (ATYP), Werther (Opera Australia) and Dead Man Walking at the State Theatre.

Fruit Box Theatre acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country and their continuous connection to lands, water and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Fruit Box operates primarily on the stolen lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation, of which sovereignty was never ceded.
