Lu Bradshaw is a queer and trans non-binary playwright and director living and working on unceded Dharawal land. In 2021, they graduated from the Bachelor of Performance (Dean's Scholar) and are currently studying Creative Arts Honours (Theatre), both at the University of Wollongong. Voices, their debut solo performance work, showed in 2020 and showcased stories of community and belonging from Lu's local queer community. Their short play Notes premiered at UOW in January 2022, and they are currently co-writing two full-length shows going up in June 2022. Lu is passionate about using theatre as a platform to showcase trans and queer stories and relationships, and their practice centres these identities.

Fruit Box Theatre acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country and their continuous connection to lands, water and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Fruit Box operates primarily on the stolen lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation, of which sovereignty was never ceded.
