Kayla-Rose de Sousa (she/her)

Graduating from the McDonald College of Performing Arts, Kayla was humbled and honoured to have achieved many awards for her acting. Here she found her voice in her role as College Captain and believes these achievements are a true testament to what can be achieved in an environment that empowers individuals to be their authentic selves.
Kayla constantly involves herself in various areas of creative arts. She is continuously driven by the industry's capacity to entertain and provide a space for stories to be shared, allowing individuals to be seen and heard. Having completed her Undergraduate studies at UTS, Kayla believes she has found her place as a passionate performer, creative and entertainer! #watchthisspace :P

Fruit Box Theatre acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country and their continuous connection to lands, water and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Fruit Box operates primarily on the stolen lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation, of which sovereignty was never ceded.
